Frans Masereel Centrum and Z33 invited the design collective Åbäke to create an atypical exhibition about graphic art.
With All the Knives, they presented a performative exhibition in a practically empty space, containing only a chair, a table or a box. The content of this exhibition is “on hold” until the visitor comes in. Storytellers / performers welcome the visitor to a world of stories told through graphic objects and conversations. The exhibition is a collection in constant evolution, composed of stories and graphic items that can be found in exhibition spaces or simply in your own pocket or wallet.
All the Knives is an exhibition by and with Åbäke, Yaïr Barelli, Jochen Dehn, Dirk Elst, Aurélien Froment, Vladimir Ivaneanu, Sally O’Reilly, Matt Rogers and Adva Zakaï.
