Who processes your personal data?
Your personal data will be processed by DCJM. This is the controller for the processing of your personal data that is described and explained in this document. The starting point is that DCJM only processes personal data and has it processed as far as this fits within the tasks assigned to it. Moreover, this always takes place in accordance with the provisions as prescribed by the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG), supplemented if necessary by federal and Flemish regulations on the protection of personal data processing.
For information and general questions about how DCJM processes your personal data, you can always contact the DCJM Data Protection Officer (DPO) via the data processing officer. You can always go there with comments and suggestions and to exercise the rights that the regulations give you.
When does DCJM collect and process your personal data?
DCJM collects and processes information about you when you contact her in the context of the services she provides and applies for (such) service (s). It is also possible that your data is processed when you contact us for a general question.
In addition, it may happen that the legislator or legislator develops a regulation that gives DCJM the assignment to give you an advantage, without having to submit an application. This requires that DCJM knows that you are eligible for that benefit. In some cases, the scheme may result in you being officially granted a disadvantage, such as imposing a fine. DCJM will then also have to check whether it should apply that regulation to you and therefore process your data.
What data does DCJM process about you?
The information we process about you is personal data. This means that that data allows you to identify yourself or still, to establish a bond with you as a natural person.
The information we process depends on the concrete services that we offer and provide. Normally, this involves identification data (so that we know who you are) and all kinds of data that are important to be able to claim on the service.
How does DCJM collect and process your personal data?
We obtain the personal data we need in two ways.
1. First of all, there are data that we request directly from you, by filling in an application form or by attaching various documents listed in the regulations. In addition, there is information that we obtain in another way, namely by consulting and requesting it from other government departments that already have it.
2. If information about you is requested from other government departments, this will always be done with the application of the principles on the protection in the processing of personal data that apply to the communication of personal data, such as, if necessary, continuing at federal or Flemish level. are or are specified. The general rule is that your personal data will only be kept for as long as is necessary to provide the services for which they are necessary. This means practically that as long as you use services that DCJM offers, your personal data will be processed. They are also kept afterwards during the period during which DCJM can be held liable for the services provided. That period is determined per task in the information management plan.
