The found objects and prints from the American artist Lynne Allen are complexly layered, drenched in personal, historical and public context.

This work is part of her quest for her indigenous roots: six generations of women before her, who belonged to the Standing Rock Indian Reservation in South Dakota.

Allen’s work is included in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York Public Library, Minneapolis Museum of Art (US), Vesteros Kunst Museum (SU) and the Victoria & Albert Museum (UK).
