Artists’ Publications: the Belgian Contribution

Johan Pas is a doctor of art sciences and head of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp.
He researches and teaches on artists’ strategies with regard to publishing and exhibition.
In 2015, he founded CRAP (Collection for Research on Artists’ Publications), a study collection of avant-garde and artist publications.
His most recent books on the subject are Artists’ Publications: The Belgian Contribution (2017) and A Kind of a “Huh?” Kunstenaarspublicaties, (g)een gebruiksaanwijzing (to be published in November).
