The new pavilion of Frans Masereel Centre will be open to the public as from 30 June. By adding this new pavilion, Frans Masereel Centre gains no less than 420 m2, offering additional exhibition space and options for a more extensive residential working.

The pavilion was designed by architects Hideyuki Nakayama (JA) and Ido Avissar of LIST (FR) and artist Jean Glibert (BE).
It was officially inaugurated in February 2019.
